ADI Microscan E66 19inch Monitor Review

Manufacture: ADI Microscan Discus -- BBS

Having a computer screen which is easy to read and not too hard on the eyes is important. A 17" monitor is the bare minimum, 19" is the average, and 21" is a great if you can afford it...

On Screen Display is the Best!

As with most decent monitors these days, all monitor options are controlled from within a small onscreen display menu. The use of an onscreen menu is far superior to a mass of little blinking lights and buttons. Controlling the various aspects of the screens' display and optional features like language would be markedly more confusing if the user were confronted with 20-odd buttons.

Features of the onscreen display include:
  1. Size and Position
    • Horizontal Size
    • Horizontal Position
    • Vertical Size
    • Vertical Position
    • Overscan
  2. Geometry/Moire
    • Pincushion
    • Pincushion Balance
    • Trapezoid
    • Parallelogram
    • Tilt
    • H-Moire
    • V-Moire
  3. Colour
    • 9300K
    • 6500K
    • 5500K
    • User Colour1
    • User Colour 2
    • User Colour 3
  4. Language
    • Japanese
    • German
    • English
    • Spanish
    • French
    • Italian
    • Norwegian
  5. Management
    • Power Saver
    • Display Mode
    • Serial Number
    • Master Reset
  6. Advanced
    • Top Corner
    • Bottom Corner
    • H-Linearity
    • V-Linearity

Easily accessible controls on the face of the monitor include the following: Onscreen Display button, Contrast, Brightness, and the power button.

So how do all these features stack up?
