We had a chance to look at this notebook from TwinHead at Comdex Fall 2001.
It is very slim and looks pretty good, but is only for release in Asia.
"Transmeta
Corporation today announced that Twinhead International Corporation
(TIC) of Taiwan has introduced a Crusoe-based notebook in China. "Twinhead has
created an efficient, lightweight notebook design with excellent battery life,"
said Jim Chapman, executive vice president and chief marketing officer,

market." Twinhead's Efio 1200, with Transmeta's TM5600 Crusoe microprocessor, is
now available in China, as announced today by Twinhead in Beijing. A second
version of the notebook, with the Crusoe TM5800 and additional features, is
planned for China and Taiwan in the first half of 2002. The Efio 1200, weighing
3.2 lbs and less than an inch thick, is priced in China at the approximate

The notebook has a 20 gigabyte hard drive, 128 megabytes
